EIM-IRMS presented during the meeting of the Sub-commission of Methods of Analysis (SCMA), OIV - Internationational Organization of Vin and Wine, 1-3 April 2019

The OIV Sub-Committee “Methods of Analysis” invited our CEO Ivan Smajlovic to present EIM-IRMS methodology in Paris, 1-3 April 2019.

The EIM-IRMS method was put on the working agenda of the OIV Subcommittee Methods of Analysis during Spring Meetings on April 1-3, 2019. Our CEO Ivan Smajlovic was invited by the President of the Subcommittee for Methods of Analysis, Mr. Markus Herderich, to present a new method for determining the authenticity of wine and detection of illegal production practices in wine production. The meeting was attended by representatives of the OIV Member States and the comments were very positive as the OIV will work more to implement new methods for determining the authenticity of wine for the coming period. After our CEO's presentation, and during the discussion, some experts commented that EIM-IRMS looks very promising and that could solve big problems in wine production and trade, and stated that they would be very interested in participating in a working group that would work on the preparation of draft for a new OIV resolution on EIM-IRMS.
